I want
to use an umbrella, but without a table. How do I ensure it won't tip over?
It
is impossible to guarantee due to extreme weather. However, if you plan to use an
umbrella without a table, we recommend that the base is at least 50lbs in
weight. For larger umbrellas, over 10ft, we recommend a 150lb base.
All of our parasols are
recommended with specific weights for the bases.
Can I order on line?
No, not at this time. We believe in a more personal approach with our clients
on email or over the telephone.
I
want an umbrella, but what weight does the base need to be?
It
depends whether or not you intend to use a table. Most of our parasols listed
indicate which size base you need with or without a table.
Are there any additional costs to the prices shown?
Prices do not include delivery or local taxes that may apply.
Can
you supply replacement canvas for my umbrella?
Only
for
Tradewinds
May
and
Shademakers
How can I pay?
We can take bank transfer (BACS)
and we take most credit
cards.
Where
are your umbrellas manufactured?
Our
Parasol range is comprehensive and each brand comes from differing countries;
USA, Germany,
South Africa and New Zealand. You may rest easy that all of
the range is of the highest quality.
Which
umbrella will suit my table?
Umbrellas
can be placed in the middle of a table or freestanding offset to one side,
dependant on shade requirements. An umbrella offset to one side usually offers
more shade. Both the round and rectangular umbrellas complement round tables. Equally, an octagonal or rectangular
umbrella can be just as effective with
rectangular tables. If your garden is large with minimal natural shading, there is a good chance of the
Sun lying low in the sky towards the end of the afternoon, a
Mezzo
umbrella is a
nice option.
